The Edge

Who are we?
e-DBA was formed in 1998 to bring the highest standards and expertise to the Oracle Database Support and Professional services marketplace.

e-DBA is an established leader in Oracle Managed & Professional Services and Oracle Licensing. Building upon this success, we have extended our services and teams to include Web 2.0 application development using Application Express (APEX), Unix and Linux System Administration including virtualisation, and hosting services.

e-DBA has a strong customer focus and a clear commitment to hiring only the best UK-based employees. e-DBA builds long-term relationships with organisations of all sizes and across multiple market sectors. We invest time in our customers to help deliver the services and solutions needed to service your business and build relationships. We create these strong relationships by dedicating key technical contacts to each client site, no Help Desk to navigate! The key Technical Contact shares information with the rest of the technical team and combines the additional knowledge gained from the whole team with his or her own ideas about the best ways to troubleshoot and maintain the client systems.

Due to our continued success e-DBA now have offices in Brighton and Stansted where we thrive on the day-to-day challenges provided by our customers wide and varied Oracle, Windows, Unix and Linux environments. We support stand-alone databases and high-availability Oracle clusters, leading e-commerce and enterprise systems, and finance solutions from PeopleSoft and Oracle Applications.

e-DBA also has dedicated teams available to provide support and guidance on UNIX environments, Application Express and Oracle Licensing. At e-DBA we treat the database, server, and applications as a whole, bringing a broader perspective to tuning, troubleshooting and planning. Our strength in service stems from knowledge of the infrastructure that surrounds our client database systems. These levels of dedication and familiarisation are the signature of our presence in a client site.
