Upgrading to 11g - If not...why not?


With the second release of the Oracle Database 11g (11gR2) now having arrived for all major platforms, and with de-support dates becoming ever closer for older releases, more and more organisations are beginning planning, or actively pursuing migration to a new release. So why upgrade to Oracle 11g? Quite simply... why not? Oracle 11g is faster, more stable, easier to manage and more secure than previous releases.
