Database and Unix
e-DBA are specialists in providing remote support services for both Oracle and Unix environments. We also recognise that each client and their environment are different and because of this all our support packages are bespoke to suit and can be modified to suit changes in their environments. This means that the e-DBA service will evolve as your current environments and situations change. We have developed a system that is completely bespoke called the Edge which we use to monitor your systems and provide a fantastic knowledge share between our specialist teams and our clients, the aim being that by doing this we are able to offer a better quality of service and become an extension of their business.

e-Business Suite Support
e-DBA offer considerable experience in supporting and managing Oracle e-Business Suite systems. Systems currently managed by the e DBA team include: -

  • Oracle iLearning
  • Oracle Learning Management System

As part of the e-Dba service we have also developed custom interfaces to Oracle HR and Financials to help customers improve their business processes.

Peoplesoft
e-DBA have been managing PeopleSoft databases on Oracle for a number of years assisting customers with daily administration of the system, guiding them through regular upgrades and helping in-house development teams with the creation and rollout of bespoke elements.

Proactive Support
This involves constant monitoring of your systems so that we can overcome any possible issues before they arise. This is an excellent package for organisations that need high availability and resilience.

Reactive Support
The e-DBA team will support your environment when possible issues are raised by the client. This gives clients a low cost of entry into remote support services and has the flexibility of being able to be upgraded or modified at any time.

These two options are then able to be modified to suit individual customer requirements. Typical options available are 24/7 support, monthly or quarterly health checks, tuning and diagnostics and upgrade services. These options can all be purchased as part of an overall package or on a ad hoc basis.

Holiday, Sickness and Temporary Cover
e-DBA utilises a unique Time Slice model, which is fused to our own Edge monitoring and support tools. This means that we can be ready to support your Oracle systems at a moments notice, for sickness cover, planned holiday cover or temporary help to support and roll-out systems.
